Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the effects of technology use in tourism businesses operating in Kayseri on visitors' cognitive learning, perception of entertainment, perceived service quality, satisfaction level, and intention to revisit. Data was collected using a survey technique. 488 questionnaires were collected for the study. Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Frequency Analysis, Correlation Analysis, Simple Linear Regression Analysis, T-test Analysis, and ANOVA Analysis were performed on the collected questionnaires. The analyses revealed that the vast majority of participants had a high level of interest in technological advancements. Furthermore, visitors stated that they frequently used various tourism technologies (websites, virtual tours, high-resolution TV/entertainment systems, mobile payment systems, sensors, smart card applications) during their holidays in Kayseri. The study found that items such as QR codes for information accessibility, virtual tours for user experience, digital key and mobile payment systems for convenience, sensor modernization, and the contribution of the green wave application to sustainability had high arithmetic means. This study is significant because it demonstrates that technology is not merely a service tool, but also a strategic element that triggers visitors' cognitive learning and entertainment perceptions, shaping their perception of service quality and influencing their satisfaction and repeat visits.
